Security Adviser Lt. General (R) Nasser Khan Janjua met the UAE Ambassador H.E
Mr. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi this afternoon. NSA warmly received the
guest and said that Pakistan and UAE have most cherish relationship blessed by
the close bond of common faith and solid friendship the foundation of which was
lead by our leadership over the period. He paid rich tribute to late UAE leader
Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan who was a great leader of vision. People to
people relationship and Pakistan’s feeling of love and affection for UAE were
natural and deeper.
The two agreed
to work together to take the bilateral relations to further heights. In this
regard the Ambassador informed that he has been undertaking a number of visits
to different parts of Pakistan including Punjab, Sindh and the tribal areas to
explore the opportunity of cooperation in various fields. Where he was received
full warmth and affection. In coming days, the Ambassador said that he will be
visiting Karachi to explore more opportunities of investments and ongoing
cooperation.
The Ambassador
reaffirmed UAEs commitment to extend all possible support and assistance to
Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest. Both sides agreed to enhance
engagements to promote bilateral relations.
