A delegation of Pakistan Red Crescent led by Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Dr. Saeed Elahi called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at PM Office in Islamabad today. The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing projects of PRC, new initiatives and future plans during the meeting.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of Pakistan Red Crescent for humanitarian assistance, its operations during disasters and provision of health services. The Prime Minister also acknowledged the role of Pakistan Red Crescent in community based social work and development for empowering the community in addressing core civic issues through better awareness.
