Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, presided over the meeting of Al-Mizan Foundation Advisory Board at Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad today. The meeting was attended by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan, Chief Justice Federal Shariat Court, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ahmed Ali M. Sheikh, Chief Justice, High Court of Sindh, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Yahya Afridi, Chief Justice, Peshawar High Court, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sh. Najam-ul-Hassan, Chief Justice Designated Federal Shariat Court, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ali Hussain Qazalbash, Former Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mian Mehmood Ahmed, Former Chief Justice, Federal Shariat Court.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar welcomed the participants of the meeting. The meeting was briefed about the functioning of Al-Mizan Foundation i.e. a welfare body of Pakistan judiciary set up for the welfare of retired and serving employees and Judges of judiciary in Pakistan, except serving Judges of superior courts. The meeting reviewed the performance of the foundation and discussed in detail different ways and means to bring improvements in its working so as to make it more beneficial for the welfare of the deserving employees of judiciary.
