PR No. 134 Curtain Raiser DEMP to hold painting competition to mark Quaid’s birthday Islamabad: December 16, 2017

To celebrate birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), Ministry of Information Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage is organizing a painting/drawing competition of Quaid’s portrait under the theme “Hamara Quaid’.

The competition will be held at Aiwan-i-Quaid, F-9 Park, Islamabad at 01:00 PM on 19^th December, 2017 under the supervision of renowned artist Ms. Aaniya S. Khan and DEMP’s Assistant Director, Arts and Design, Ms. Humaira Zafar. The painting contest will attract students, youth and lovers of arts from across the twin cities and other areas. The Competition is open to participation of Youth of 7 to 25 years of age.

Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting, National History & Literary Heritage will award the winners of the competition during prize distribution ceremony to be held on December 20, 2017 at Aiwan-i-Quaid. The first three position holders will be awarded prizes, certificates and Souvenirs.
