Ms. Marriyum Aurangzeb has expressed deep sense of sorrow over the sad demise
of renowned Indian film star Shashi Kapoor and offered heart-felt condolences
to the bereaved family.
In a
statement issued here today she said that in the death of Shashi Kapoor the
sub-continent had lost a great artist who won the hearts of the film viewers
through his versatile and solitary performances. He played memorable roles
during his film career and dominated the film world due to his artistic skills
ever since his childhood, she added. Marriyum observed that Shashi Kapoor
had also played a memorable role in the film on the life of the founder of
Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She said that his fans felt deeply
grieved over his demise.
