Apropos to the News item regarding "suspension/ cancellation of all licenses of Prohibited bore (Automatic) weapons” that has appeared in the print and electronic media, Ministry of Interior strongly denies issuance of any such notification.

However, it is also clarified that the matter of regulating Arms, especially Automatic Arms, in the country is still under consideration. Media will be informed regarding any progress on the issue through proper channel.
