PR.58 Federal Minister for Human Rights Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar addressed Common Word Seminar. Islamabad: 8th November, 2017

Federal Minister for Human Rights Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar emphasized on the Right and Freedom of Religion, and he said that without it there is no justice and peace in our society. He expressed these views in a Seminar conducted by UIPM (Universal Interfaith Peace Mission) held on Wednesday at Islamabad Holiday Inn Hotel, Islamabad.

 

          He appreciated UIPM on conducting seminar for the purpose of Interfaith Harmony in Pakistan and stated that the sectarian elements must be negated from society in order to stop serious Human Rights violations.

 

          Federal Minister stated that the Ministry of Human Rights with the

collaboration of Universal Interfaith Peace Mission will make all possible efforts to safeguard the rights of all sects and will be collaborating with each other to take all measures in this regard. Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar said that ministry is taking pragmatic solution of present Muslim-Umma’s plight. Many Ulema and scholars from all religions as well as women and young students participated the seminar. The aim of the seminar was to reform Education System and bringing a better change in Muslim mind-set from grassroots level.
