PR No. 184APTMA Delegation Meets Dar Islamabad: December 18, 2015

A high level delegation of the All Pakistan Textile Manufacturers Association met the Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Thursday.

The delegation apprised the Finance Minister about the issues impeding the growth of textile industry in the country.

The delegation also suggested measures for helping out the industry.

The Finance Minister on this occasion said that the government fully acknowledged the role of textile industry and would take measures for betterment of all its facets. He emphasized continued engagement between representatives of the textile industry and the government functionaries for evolving a strategy to revive the industry to its true potential.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and FBR attended the meeting.
