PR No.291 Govt. Taking Steps For Ease Of Doing Business Karachi

A delegation of exporters called on the Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Governor House Friday evening.

The Minister briefed the delegation about the turnaround in the economy which had resulted in increased forex reserves and stable exchange rate. He further stated that it was the commitment of the govt to take necessary measures for ease of doing business.

The delegation appreciated the achievements of the government and the economic progress made in the past two years. They apprised the Finance Minister of the difficulties being faced by them and put forth some suggestions aimed at enhancing exports.

The Minister assured the delegation of government’s all out support to find a solution to problems being faced by them.

The meeting was attended by around 15 leading exporters and businessmen. Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Ashraf Mahmood Wathra was also present on the occasion.
