The basic function of the National Archives of Pakistan (NAP) is to preserve public record of Pakistan and archival material of historical and national significance to Pakistan. The NAP has preserved the papers of father of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Muslim League record, Government record, Private Collections, Newspapers, etc. Besides this NAP mount exhibitions of rate photographs on national days and seminars to make awareness about the Pakistan Movement.

In this connection a workshop on Paper Conservation was held in the NAP from 16th to 27th November, 2015. The NAP invited the concerned Department from all over the Pakistan to participate the workshop.

After completion the Certificate Distribution Ceremony to the successful participants of the workshop is being held in National Archives of Pakistan on 27th November, 2015 at 10.30 AM.

It is hoped that the efforts of the National Archives of Pakistan to create awareness and disseminating practical skills on the subject will be helpful to produce prolific work force for the departments/organizations relating to the archival issues.
