President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed satisfaction at the improvement of law and order situation in Balochistan and said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and development of Gwadar Port will lead to development and prosperity in Pakistan particularly in Balochistan.

The President said this while talking to Governor of Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday.

Governor Balochistan briefed the President about the overall political and security situation in Balochistan and apprised him of the efforts for restoring complete peace and stability in the province. President Mamnoon Hussain stated that the government is according highest priority to carry out development in Balochistan for the welfare of the people and to bring the province at par with the other provinces of the country.

“The construction of Gwadar Port and Gwadar Airport together with CPEC will create immense employment opportunities for the people of Balochistan and raise their living standard”, said the President.
