PR No.97 Minister Of State (Ca&Dd) Barrister Usman Ibrahim, Inaugurated Doll Making Program At Lok Virsa, Islamabad Islamabad

Minister of State (CA&DD), Barrister Usman Ibrahim, inaugurated the Doll Making program which will last for a week at Lok Virsa.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of State said that Lok Virsa is rendering a commendable service of transforming of our traditional values to the future generations. These values are our identity and pride, he said.

While appreciating the performance of the students at the function, he said that their good performance in these activities reflect their positive attitude. The Minister further said that bright students are the result of incessant struggle of their teachers.

Earlier, speaking on the occasion renowned intellectual and puppeteer Mr. Farooq Qaiser said that Doll is a kid’s companion when he is alone. He further said that Doll making is an old tradition and “Lok Virsa” has taken a step that was much needed to preserve this tradition. He was of the view that tradition and education has a close link.

In the end the Minister appreciated the students of IMCG G-6/, for their performance in the function. He also said that the statistics were showing that public sector educational institutions have outperformed the private schools in Islamabad, which is a matter of pride for us.
