PR No.60 Prime Minister Chairs High-Level Meeting. Islamabad: December 8, 2015

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting at PM House this morning. The meeting was attended by COAS General Raheel Sharif, National Security Advisor Lt. Gen ® Nasser Khan Janjua, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, SAPM Tariq Fatemi and other senior officials of the government.

Lt. Gen ® Nasser Khan Janjua briefed the meeting on the recent talks with his Indian counterpart held in Bangkok, in which the foreign secretaries of both the countries were also present. The agenda of “Heart of Asia” conference also came under discussion during the meeting. The meeting also discussed the upcoming visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to Pakistan.
