PR No.54 Deputy Chief Of US Embassy Calls on Minister for Water and Power. Islamabad

A US delegation led by Mr. Jonathan Pratt , Deputy Chief of The Embassy Called on Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for water and power here in his office .

Areas of mutual interest and cooperation in the field of energy and defense came under discussion.

The delegation apprised about the ongoing US projects in energy sector. “to solve energy issue of Pakistan is one of the top priorities of the US government”.

The Minister assured that the Government of Pakistan would facilitate its business community to participate in the International Energy Conference, scheduled in the first week of December, this year in Washington DC.

In the meeting it was also discussed that Pakistan has a lot of Wind Energy potential at the coastal line of Baluchistan, need to be exploited.
