Minister of State (CA&DD), Barrister Usman Ibrahim, chaired the 9th meeting of the steering committee of the project of “Establishment of F.G College of Home Economics, Management Sciences and Specialized Disciplines, F-11/1, Islamabad” under the Chairmanship of the Minister of State, Barrister Usman Ibrahim.
The meeting deliberated upon the Hiring of consultant for the construction of Academic Blocks of the College. The Minister directed the representative of PWD in this regard to hire a consultant at the earliest in accordance with the PPRA rules.
The Minister also inquired about the progress of work of construction of Admn Block of the college. He was informed that roof slab of ground floor and 1st floor of Admn Block have been completed. The Minister directed the representative of PWD to ensure completion of Admn Block within stipulated time i.e 30-06-2016.
The commencement of construction work of F.G College of Home Economics, Management Sciences and Specialized Disciplines, F-11/1, Islamabad, has become a possibility through keen interest and personal endeavors of the Minister, who has been up for the cause of education. He said that half of our population comprises of females, therefore their education is a must for socio-economic uplift of the society.
