PR No.35 Deputy State Secretary Of Hungary Called On Syed Tariq Fatemi Islamabad

The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi, received Deputy State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Mr. Szilveszter Bus, today. The Deputy State Secretary is on a two-day visit to Pakistan.

The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations during the meeting.

SAPM underscored that the mutual good-will and friendship between the two sides needed to be translated into strong political and economic partnership. He expressed satisfaction over the growing cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education. He also briefed the Hungarian Deputy State Secretary on the success achieved by Pakistan in the fight against terrorism as well as Pakistan’s efforts in line with its policy of peaceful neighbourhood.

The Deputy State Secretary stressed that Hungary attached great importance to its relations with Pakistan and would like to further strengthen bilateral ties in all areas. He also appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and its concerted effort for peace and stability in the entire region.

Other regional and global issues of importance also came under discussion during the meeting.
