PR No.147 GOVERNOR BALOCHISTAN LEADING A GOODWILL DELEGATION ON A VISIT TO CHINA Islamabad

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, who is on a Goodwill Visit to China from Nov 14-23, 2016, met the Deputy Chief Executive of Confucius Institute Headquarters of China on 15^th Nov. 2016 says a press release received here today from Beijing.

Matters of educational cooperation were discussed and a plan to establish a Confucius Institute in Balochistan University, Quetta with the help of Confucius Institute Headquarters also came under discussion.

The Governor also held a meeting with scholars of China Institute for Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) today where the current situation of South Asia and CPEC came under discussion.

The Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Masood Khalid hosted a dinner for Governor Balochistan.

The Governor Balochistan is leading a delegation of twenty (20) members, mostly tribal elders, and in addition to Beijing, the delegation will be visiting Shanghai and Urumqi as well.
