Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada has said that Quaid-e-Azam International Games will again be held in Islamabad in March next year.

He said that it was for the first time in the history of  Pakistan that Ministry of Inter-provincial Coordination organized  Quaid-e-Azam International Games in April this year in Pakistan Sports Complex.

Talking to media persons on the occasion of 4th Servis Premier League Rugby Match between the teams of Pakistan Army and Islamabad Rugby  Club in Sports Complex on Sunday,  Riaz Pirzada said that he will meet provincial chief ministers regarding holding of Quaid-e-Azam International Games.

He  noted that terrorism inflicted harm to sports but the present government took steps for the restoration of sports in the country.

The Federal Minister also appreciated the role of media for positive reporting and in promoting sports in the country.

He said that steps will be taken for bringing international teams in Pakistan and we are ready to provide complete security to players of the other countries.

Riaz Pirzada said that the government will provide full support for the promotion of Rugby in the country.

The Federal Minister also congratulated Pakistan Rugby Union for organizing Rugby match, saying that innovation can be introduced in Rugby by organizing Rugby matches on sand to prevent players from any injury.

He also urged masses to come in the sports field to encourage their national players
