PR No.257 13TH MEETING OF PAK-CHINA JOINT COMMITTEE ON DEFENCE TECHNOLOGY AND INDUSTRIAL COOPERATION HELD IN BEIJING, CHINA Islamabad

A high level MoDP’s delegation visited China in order to attend the 13^th Meeting of Pak-China Joint Committee on Defence Technology Cooperation held at Beijing, China recently. The meeting was co-chaired by the Lt Gen Syed Mohammad Owais (Retd), Secretary Ministry of Defence Production Pakistan and H.E Mr. Xu Zhanbian, Vice Administrator of SASTIND of China.

The Concluding Session was held at SASTIND Headquarters Beijing which was preceded by a call of Secretary MoDP on Vice Administrator SASTIND. During the meeting matters of bilateral Defence Collaboration came under discussion. Both sides expressed satisfaction on the level of cooperation in the field of defence production and showed keenness to expand the existing relations. It was decided to make joint working group to ensure smooth implementation of various projects of Defence Collaboration.
