PR No.252 HIGH COMMISSION LONDON HOSTS NETWORKING EVENT FOR LSE STUDENTS Islamabad

The High Commission for Pakistan, London hosted an “Introductory and Networking” event for the fresh intake of the LSE students of Pakistani origin. The event was organized as part of the High Commission’s initiative to connect and engage
with the British Pakistani students studying in the UK universities.
The event was attended by a large number of LSE students, alumni and faculty
members. Director of the LSE South Asia Centre Dr. Mukulika Banerjee was also
present. The office bearers and members of the Pakistan Society of the London
School of Economics (LSE), were also in attendance.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for the new and current students of
LSE, alumni and the faculty to interact with the officers of the High Commission. Moreover, the guests were also given a presentation about various activities planned by the High Commission for Pakistan to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence. The students and the alumni appreciated the High Commission’s efforts and expressed interest in participating in the planned events.
