In order to Foster Technological Development in the country, the Ministry of Science and Technology has planned to establish National University of Technology and Skill Development. In this regard, a meeting of Minister for Science & Technology. RanaTanveer Hussain has arranged on today, 6^th October, 2016 with Engineer-in-Chief, Lt. Gen. Khalid Asghar. The Ministry of Science &Technology has drafted bill for the establishment of National University of Technology and Skill Development with principal seat at Islamabad and Campuses all over the country and abroad to meet the promotion and dissemination direction in the realm of skills and technologies to prepare trained manpower capable adopted developing and upgrading in implementation relevant technology to required higher standard with particular emphasized on the national needs of technology based economy. This University will meet the requirement of Pakistan Army as well as local industries. This meeting also attended by the Secretary, MOST and other concerned officers of Ministry of Science & Technology.
