Prime Minister Briefed On Foreign Relations Islamabad: August 04, 2017

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was briefed by Foreign Secretary on Pakistan’s Foreign Policy at the Prime Minister’s office, today. Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Foreign Affairs was also present during the briefing. The briefing covered in detail, issues of importance in Pakistan’s Foreign Policy.

 

Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the just struggle of people of Indian Occupied Kashmir for their right of self-determination. He directed continued projection of grave human rights violations in IoK by the Indian occupation forces.

 

Prime Minister also stressed the importance of economic diplomacy to ensure that Pakistan’s true economic potential is harnessed in win-win partnerships with other countries and gave specific instructions for pursuing a foreign policy that meets the goals of improving the lives of the People of Pakistan.
