PR No. 58 AFGHAN GOVERNMENT REQUESTED TO LOCATE HELICOPTER, RECOVER CREW Islamabad

Following Afghan media reports regarding the crash landing of a helicopter in Logar Province, Afghanistan, which coincided with the scheduled over flight of the Punjab Government’s helicopter to Russia for maintenance that went missing in Afghanistan’s aerial territory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in close touch with all relevant authorities in the Government of Afghanistan.

The Afghan Government has been requested to locate the helicopter and make efforts for early recovery of the crew.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul is actively pursuing the matter.
