Ambassador Aizaz Chaudhry While speaking at ’Regional Perspective on US Strategy in Afghanistan” held at the South Asian Centre in Atlantic Council, Washington DC, strongly condemned the tragic Kabul incident. He said that we want to see a peaceful, stable, prosperous & sovereign Afghanistan.

He stressed that there is an opportunity for both Pakistan & the US to work together to achieve peace in Afghanistan. He further said that mistrust between the two countries is blocking the progress in achieving the objective of peace.

Ambassador Aizaz Chaudhry narrated that terrorism under any pretext is not acceptable to us. Pakistan’s efforts to bring peace in the region will not be interrupted by the rhetoric of the Afghan leadership. Just putting blame on Pakistan, all the time will never help in any manner to achieve the ultimate objective of regional peace, Ambassador Chaudhry added.
