Minister of State for Information Technology & Telecom Ms. Anusha Rahman has called on Adviser to the Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan here in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Besides, Secretary Aviation, Irfan Ilahi, Secretary IT and other officers of the Aviation Division were also present on the occasion. Matters relating to the aviation industry particularly establishment of Information Technology park were discussed during the meeting. Different measures to extend the mutual cooperation with Ministry of Information Technology to revamp the IT department of Aviation were also shared.

Matters related to the establishment of IT Park at Aviation land in Lahore also came under discussion. Sardar Mahtab assured his full support in this regard. Advisor to Prime Minister highlighted the various steps underway for ongoing progress of Aviation industry and PIA, specifically flights safety, punctuality, and induction of latest technology for the promotion of Aviation.

Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has stated that under the supervision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Shareef, government is adapting a practical approach to restore the grace of the national airline and improve the standards of aviation industry. IT Minister Anusha Rehman highly appreciated all endeavors taken by the incumbent Government and Advisor to Prime Minister to improve the performance of the Aviation industry.

In order to revamp the IT department in PIA and Civil Aviation, IT minister offered their support and said that we are ready to provide support and exchange the skills to upgrade the performance of IT department aviation industry.
