Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has said that formation of Inquiry Commission in line with Prime Minister’s announcement is underway and it shall be notified on completion of requisite codal formalities.

Referring to the proposal from certain quarters naming Chairman Senate for the Inquiry Commission, the Minister said it was not an appropriate suggestion as besides performing duties of the Chairman Senate, on occasions he also has to serve as Acting President of Pakistan.

Statement of Chairman Senate wherein he has himself declined the proposal to head the Inquiry Commission is most appropriate, the Finance minister remarked.
