PR No.347 Govt committed for promotion of sports: Riaz Pirzada Islamabad: 31 March 2017

Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada has said that the present government is committed for the promotion of sports in the country.

He was addressing the opening ceremony of 4th National Tchoukball Championship for Men and Women 2017 at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad on Friday.

The Federal Minister said that the sports activities are underway in the country and the people should give respect to players and come towards sports fields for encouraging our players.

He also urged the players to participate in games with full dedication and national zeal.

Riaz Pirzada said that the approval for the affiliation of Tchoukball Federation with Pakistan Sports Board will be given in the Executive Committee meeting.

Tchoukball Championship for Men and Women 2017 is being held at Liaquat Gymnasium from March 31 to April 2. Men and women teams from all four provinces and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the Championship./Ends
