PR No.145 THE AUDITOR GENERAL OF PAKISTAN HAS DISMISSED TWO OFFICERS OF PAKISTAN AUDIT AND ACCOUNT SERVICE Islamabad: March 16, 2017

The Auditor General of Pakistan Rana Assad Amin, in exercise of powers conferred upon him by the Government has dismissed Two B-17 Officers Mr. Muhammad Ihtisham and Bilal Ahmad Ijaz of Pakistan Audit & Accounts service (PA&AS). Both officers have been found guilty of “inefficiency” and “Misconduct” under government servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rule 1973. The Auditor General of Pakistan Rana Assad Amin has dismissed 3 officers of B-17 and B-19 who were found guilty of corruption and misconduct in last six months to eliminate corruption and indiscipline from department because the AGP has zero tolerance in this regard.
