PR No.131 PAKISTAN NURSING COUNCIL STARTING ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION SYSTEM: SAIRA AFZAL TARAR Islamabad: March 15, 2017

On special directions of the Minister National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar a revolutionary step has been taken by the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) by launching its online Pre-Registration System. Through this system, data of nursing students taking admissions in more than 500 nursing Schools and Colleges would be computerized and secured. This will not only help the Pakistan Nursing Council to keep check on sanctioned induction limit allotted to these nursing Schools and Colleges and also to cope with the bogus enrollments made by the recognized or unrecognized institutions on time. This system will also facilitate the nursing professionals to get the registration cards in future with ease.

To create proper awareness among the institutions regarding this newly launched pre-registration system, a series of training sessions have been started and nominated persons from nursing institutions are being trained. These training sessions will be completed within 03 months.
