Federal Minister for parliamentary affairs Sheikh Aftab chaired a high level meeting of Prime Minister’s sustainable Development program, the meeting was related development work in Electricity and power related projects. The meeting was also attended by officials of all DESCOs , the Minster was briefed about ongoing development schemes and future power distribution projects in every constituency. The Minister said that Prime Minister has given special consideration to power sector and now even a block of four houses can apply for installation of electricity distribution infrastructure. The secretary water and power has briefed about new initiatives to make electricity distribution more efficient. The Minster was presented details of future electrification projects in every division.
