PR No.10 Speaker Balochistan Assembly Calls On The Prime Minister Islamabad

Speaker Balochistan Assembly Ms. Rahila Hameed Durrani called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that it is highly encouraging that a female has been elected as Speaker of Balochistan Provincial Assembly for the first time. The Prime Minister said that Balochistan is close to his heart and peace & prosperity of the Province has been top priority of the present government. Peace in the Province has been restored due to commendable efforts of the civil and military Law Enforcement Agencies during the last three years, the Prime Minister added. The Prime Minister reiterated that the development of Balochistan will remain on top priority agenda of the government in years ahead.

Ms. Rahila Durrani thanked the Prime Minister for his keen interest in restoration of peace in Balochistan and putting the Province on the development path after significant years. Ms. Durrani briefed the Prime Minister on the parliamentary and legislative proceedings in the Provincial Assembly.
