UAE is the second biggest host to Overseas Pakistanis in the world. It should be noted here that this is the first visit after reopening of airspace to address overseas Pakistanis’ issues since the onset of corona virus pandemic.
During the visit SAPM Bukhari will hold meetings with Minister for Labour, UAE.
UAE is one of the 2 largest labour markets for Pakistani workers. The meeting is expected to highlight issues faced by Pakistani labour generally & specially during COVID-19.
This is the first interaction of UAE labour ministry with representative of any country with large diaspora to address workforce issues & post covid reintegration plan.
He will also hold meetings with the Pakistani diaspora and consulate staff involved in the process of facilitating Overseas Pakistanis during Covid-19.
SAPM will have a press interaction during his visit & meet with PTI overseas office bearers to encourage them for their untiring services on ground for Pakistanis in UAE during the pandemic.
SAPM Zulfikar Bukhari will hold an interaction with the Dubai based Pakistani donors who carried out philanthropic activities and made huge contributions to help Pakistanis in UAE during crisis. The donors contributed thousands of dollars in cash & kind to help their countrymen in need. SAPM will pay gratitude to them on behalf of PM Imran Khan & the entire nation for looking after their countrymen in hour of need.
