Aviation Minister, Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Khan received the Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Syed Mohammad Ali Hosseini for a call today. The Aviation Minister highlighted the traditionally strong relationship between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of enhancing mutually beneficial collaboration between the two countries especially keeping in view the global threat of Corona Virus. Aviation Minister recalled his visit to Iran and admired the resilience of the Iranian nation in the face of spread of Corona Virus. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment towards enhancing trade and suggested medical exchange keeping in view the pandemic virus. He stated that the future of the region is very bright and that Pakistan and Iran will be key players in defining the future of the region. Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Syed Mohammad Ali Hosseini stated that the two countries have immense trade potential which should be fulfilled. He emphasized the necessity of strengthening the fraternal ties between Iran and Pakistan. He said that the two countries should find a way, keeping in view of current impediments, to increase the current level of trade. Mr. Syed Mohammad Ali Hosseini stated that Iran has taken tough measures to control the spread of Corona Virus. He stated that Iran has high quality medical equipment and health workers who are working tirelessly to bring the pandemic in control.
