DUBAI AND PAKISTAN AVIATION SECTORS ARE IMPORTANT FOR ECONOMIES OF THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES: HASSAN NASIR JAMY

Dubai and Pakistan aviation sectors are important for economies of their respective countries.Both countries will increase their mutual cooperation in aviation sector. This was said by Hassan Nasir Jamy, Federal Secretary for Aviation during his meeting with M. Sarhan, Vice President, Emirates on Thursday in Aviation Division. Both sides agreed on developing strong relations in the field of aviation. Federal Secretary also added that Pakistan and Dubai are brotherly countries. Our relations are warm and cordial based on trust and respect. Similarly, Muhammad Sarhan said that Emirates is keen on enhancing ties with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. Hassan Nasir Jamy was of the point of view that Pakistan's aviation sector is very dynamic. He mentioned that National Aviation Policy, 2019 (NAP) is creating ease of doing business in aviation sector resulting in improving image of Pakistan in global business industry. Federal Secretary added that the aviation industry in Pakistan continues to grow with 1 million additional passengers entering in Pakistan market every year. He gave instance of Gerry's Dnata, which is expanding its operation in Pakistan by opening cargo handling facilities in Karachi. Federal Secretary added that passemger facilitation is the priority of Aviation Division. For this purpose CAA is going to intoduce E gates in 7 major airports of the country. He also mentioned that many international airlines are interested in starting their operations in Pakistan, including Pegasus(Turkey), Azal (Azerbaijan) and Shamwing (Syria). On the other hand, M. Sarhan, Vice President, Emirates added that Emirates is the largest airline in the Middle East, operating flights from its hub at Dubai International Airport, to more than 150 cities in 80 countries across six continents.
