USMAN DAR INAUGURATES HI-TECH COURSES UNDER KAMYAB JAWAN PROGRAM

Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Adviser to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs inaugurated launching of hi-tech courses under Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program at NUTECH today. Under the umbrella of PM Kamyab Jawan Programme, Rs. 30 billion’s Skilled for All (Hunarmand Pakistan) is executed by NAVTTC under Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP). Initially, with Rs. 9.84 Billion allocation spreading over 20 months, the SIP aims at skilling 1,70,000 youth in Hi-Tech and Conventional Skills. The program aims to prepare Pakistani youth in hi-tech and conventional skills including digital skills, financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship and micro-business support for employment and economic empowerment of youth. “We want to invest in our youth for adequately building their capacities for matching jobs market. Our focus is on imparting relevant and required skills to our youth”, said SAPM during a briefing session by Rector NUTECH. Under PM’s Kamyab Jawan program, hi-tech courses offered by NUTECH Skills Development Department (NSDD) includes Computer Graphics (UI/UX), Cloud Computing, Robotics, Mobile App Development and IOT (Internet of Things). After the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Dar addressed the faculty, support staff and students wherein he applauded the role and hard work of NUTECH and NAVTTC for successful launching of the program. Mr. Dar said that the program will multiply skilled manpower and increase employability of the youth in Pakistan. While addressing the faculty and students he said that the government is making serious efforts for youth inclusivity in economic development of the country. He further stressed that to make Kamyab Jawan Program a successful initiative, its merit, standard and transparency is ensured at all levels. Earlier on arrival at National University of Technology, SAPM was received by Rector of the University Lieutenant General (Retired) Khalid Asghar.
