ELECTRIC RICKSHAWS WILL BE LAUNCHED IN 3 MAJOR CITIES OF THE PAKISTAN.

Federal Minister/Advisor to Prime Minister on Climate Change met the Korean delegation at his office... Advisor was briefed about the Pilot Project of Launching the Electric Rickshaws with innovative swappable batteries in 3 major cities of Pakistan. The three major cities includes Lahore, Sialkot and Peshawar. It was told there would be 600 electric rickshaws ready in approximately one month period. Advisor said that this would be a good initiative to create the awareness regarding climate change. This project will help in measuring the feasibility and testing grounds for experts in the future, he added. While showing the proposed models of the E- rickshaws the Korean delegation explained that swappable pable batteries of E Rickshaws would be recharged in an hour and is the best technology that is environment friendly too. The 3 wheelers would be launched with the collaboration of Asian development bank and local manufacturers in Pakistan.
