Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul called on the Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda in Islamabad on Wednesday. Different issues related to bilateral relations particularly water resources were discussed. Minister for Water Resources and Turkish Ambassador have mutually agreed on extending their bilateral relations and to work collectively particularly in the field of water resources for the productive betterment of this sector. Turkish ambassador appreciated different endeavours taken by this government and appreciated the firm commitment of the incumbent government for the growth of this sector. Minister for Water Resources expressed his deep love and respect for Turkey and said that Pakistan and Turkey are brother countries and our friendship will last forever. He said that we are enthusiastic to collaborate on different projects with Turkey to flourish this relation and to collaborate in this sector. He added that we are focusing on strengthening regional cooperation and bilateral relations to ensure the prosperity not only in Pakistan but in the whole region. Turkish Ambassador assured the Minister that the existing cooperation in the various fields between the two countries will be continued. Water Resources Minister Faisal Vawda thanked the Ambassador and expressed that Pakistan and Turkey have very strong bond and both countries are embracing strong relations with every passing day.
