PR No.66 MOHAMMEDMIAN SOOMRO CHAIRS MEETING OF TRANSACTION COMMITTEE FOR PRIVATISATION OF NPPMCL Islamabad, June 18, 2019

Third meeting of the transaction committee for privatisation of National Power Parks Management Committee Limited (NPPMCL) was held here today. The meeting was chaired by Federal minister for Privatisation / Chairman, Privatisation Commission, Muhammedmian Soomro and attended by the representatives of all stakeholders. The meeting updated the minister on the implementation status of the decisions and directions from the last meeting. The meeting briefed the minister on the progress of actions taken in light of those decisions. The minister asked the stakeholders to urgently resolve all issues for smooth flow of the privatisation Process. The Financial Advisor (FA) for the transaction, M/s Credit Suisse briefed the Committee regarding the progress of privatisation of NPPMCL. The minister asked the FA team to strictly follow the timelines. The meeting was attended by Secretary Privatisation Division, members of the Privatisation Commission and representatives of Power Division, Petroleum Division, Finance Division, Law & Justice Division, Ministry of Planning, Development & Reforms, NPPMCL, NEPRA, CPPA (G), PPIB & SNGPL. *-*-*-*
