President Dr Arif Alvi has said that Government is committed to providing conducive investment environment to the investors by enhancing ease of doing business. The president said this while talking to Chairman, LNG Market Development, M/s ExxonMobil, Mr. Alex Volkov, who along with a delegation called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday. The President appreciated the efforts of the ExxonMobil to re-enter in the Pakistani Market in LNG sector. Furthermore, he encouraged ExxonMobil for further investment in the upstream petroleum sector of Pakistan. He also urged ExxonMobil and other foreign investors to take benefit of the liberal foreign investment policy of the Government. Moreover, he highlighted the need for collaborations of foreign investors with local partners in the form of joint ventures. The President was also briefed by the ExxonMobil delegation about their current and future ventures in Pakistan. *-*-*
