Directorate of Electronic Media & Publications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is holding a five day (22nd to 26th March, 2019) Photographic Exhibition in Awan-i-Quaid, Fatima Jinnah Park, F-9, Islamabad. The exhibition is inaugurated by Federal Secretary for Information & Broadcasting Mr. Shafqat Jalil. On the occasion a smartly turned out orchestra played National Song after which flag hoisting ceremony took place. After the inauguration of the exhibition Secretary was shown a documentary titled ‘PAKISTAN DAY RESOLUTION’ prepared by DEMP especially for the occasion. A National song “Naya Pakistan” sung by a young graduate was launched which was produced by Directorate of Electronic Media & Publications. The Secretary for Information & Broadcasting took the round of the exhibition and lauded the archival photographs preserved by this Directorate and paintings and sketches made by the artists of DEMP. On the occasion the Secretary stressed that the Pakistan envisioned by Quaid-i-Azam is the same Pakistan which Prime Minister Imran Khan is looking forward to. DG DEMP presented a vote of thanks to the Secretary for Information & Broadcasting and to the guests present for the occasion.
