Chairing a meeting of the Special Committee, constituted for the best use of Public Properties, the Federal Minister for Defence Mr. Pervez Khattak said that govt would provide every possible support and guidelines for the utilization of these properties. However, no excuse would be accepted to made a delay in this regard. Every department should come up with serious recommendation and comprehensive plan for the best utilization of these land. The Federal Minister lamented that a large area of land is lying without any use and no proper utilization has been found as yet. The Federal Minister directed the representative of various departments to show seriousness and come up with a sound plan. It is up to the departments and Ministries concerned whether they want to use it for commercial or residential purposes, he added. He directed that all govt land occupied in one way or the other be identified and recovered. The committee would extend every possible assistance in this regard. ***** ?
