PR No. 55 SECOND MEETING OF THE 8TH WAGE BOARD HELD Islamabad: 10th January, 2019

Second meeting of the 8thWage Board has been held at Lahore PID office today i.e. on 10th January 2019 under the Chairmanship of Mr. Justice (Retd) Hasnat Ahmad Khan. The following learned members of the Board attended the meeting:- 1. Mr. Nasir Chishti Daily Jang 2. Mr. Bakht Zada Yousafzai Daily Aeen Peshawar 3. Mr. Shoaib Uddin Daily Nawa-e-Waqt 4. Mr. Waseem Abbas Secretary to the Chairman 8th Wage Board They have submitted the memorandum of interim relief on behalf of newspapers employees. They have, however, requested for further time to substantiate the said memorandum with certified documents. None of the members representing the employers has attended the meeting. The Secretary of the Chairman has been asked to invite and persuade the said members to attend the next meeting for advancing their point of view by submitting their reply to the said memorandum so that the matter could be decided expeditiously. Next meeting of the board will be held in the office of PID Islamabad on 24th January 2019. *-*-*-* ?
